Purpose:

To support the lowest paid colleagues in the Council.

Decision:

To implement, from the 1 April, 2024, as a salary supplement, the Real Living Wage of £12 per hour for anyone on the NJC pay scales earning below this hourly rate. This is something that is budgeted for and the Council has done in previous years.
