Decision:

Boston Borough Council are formally sharing the Housing Support Officer with East Lindsey District Council at least the 31 March 2026.
The decision being sought is under Section 113 of the Local
Government Act 1972 for Boston Borough Council to agree to this arrangement which will enable a combined role covering the partnerships region.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable the aforementioned officer to manage the council’s
temporary accommodation for BBC, including sign ups, health and safety and tenant management. The officer also provided a small amount of assistance for ELDC, covering for ELDC’s temporary accommodation officer, during absences. The current s.113 expires 31.03.2025, therefore requires extending.
