To appoint the Neighbourhoods Programme
Manager
Reasons for the decision:
The role of Neighbourhoods Programme Manager
will lead, manage and co-ordinate the programme delivery for the
Waste Improvement Programme Board, involving the introduction of a
food waste collection service across the SELCP, waste service
transformation at South Holland District Council, and other service
priorities.
This post will oversee the delivery of the neighbourhood services
programme across the 3 Councils; engage and manage stakeholder
relationships ensuring alignment with community needs and
compliance with legislation; and represent the Partnership as the
Key Service Contact for programme delivery.
The implementation of the Environment Act 2021 cannot be made
within existing resource. This shared post will provide additional
resource to co-ordinate and deliver the programme for Neighbourhood
services.

Do nothing was considered but would mean that
the Neighbourhoods Work Programme will not be delivered
efficiently, effectively, or on time.
