To implement a shared officer pay scheme under the delegation granted by Council following consultation with Portfolio Holders, the impacted employees and Unions.

Reasons for the decision:

To ensure the Council has a shared officer pay scheme in place.

Alternative options considered:

Not to implement a scheme would leave the council open to equal pay claims and would leave the Councils without an arrangement to effectively evaluate shared roles.
