Decision:
1. To authorise the Assistant Director
Regulatory to commence consultation with staff on the proposed
permanent sharing arrangements (as set out in Appendix 1) under
Section 113 of the Local Government Act 1972, and to delegate to
the Assistant Director Regulatory, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder, authority to determine and implement the sharing
arrangements, taking account of consultation responses.
2. To accept the placing of specified East Lindsey District Council
(ELDC) posts at the disposal of Boston Borough Council in
accordance with Section 113 of the Local Government Act 1972.
Reasons for the decision:
• To make permanent the existing
temporary shared arrangements of the specified Officers to continue
to support delivery of the South and East Lincolnshire Councils
Partnership’s Environment Priority and Sub-regional
Strategy
• To deliver the aspirations of the South and East
Lincolnshire Councils Partnership
Business Case and Memorandum of Agreement.
• To ensure resilience and capacity is maintained in this
service area for all Partnership Councils.
