Decision:

East Lindsey District Council are looking to share an existing member of staff, a Senior Rough Sleeping Case Officer who will be formally shared across the partnership until at least the 31 March 2028.

The decision being sought is under Section 113 of the Local Government Act 1972 for Boston Borough Council to agree to this arrangement which will enable a combined role covering both areas.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable the aforementioned officer to manage the Rough Sleeping - Outreach function for both Councils.

Alternative options considered:

Employment of a Separate Senior at each individual Council. It was felt that it was more cost effective and to strengthen consistency, resilience and effectiveness across the partnership area.
